As you preparing for class enrollment, here are some steps and suggestions for ensuring your process goes smoothly:

 Important Enrollment Preparation Steps:
  - Log into MyMadison – Ensure that your password is active and you do not have any holds that prevent enrollment. If you do have a hold, resolve it as quickly as possible.
  - Make sure you have Okta - Ensure you have your Okta device ready to go as well when logging into MyMadison.
  - MyMadison not loading? Don't Panic! - If you're having issue signing into MyMadison, be sure to first try and clear your browser's cache and history or try to sign in using a different browser. With everyone signing at the same time, MyMadison might just need an extra second or two.
  - Protip: Your MyMadison session will only lasts for 15 minutes unless you/re active on the page; once you sign back in, you may not need your password but you will have to re-verify with Okta (due to the information inside MyMadison). With that, having multiple windows or browsers open with MyMadison at the same time can cause issues for you and others.

  - Review your Academic Requirements Report - and consult with your advisor, if needed. Review the requisites on your intended classes to ensure that you will be able to enroll. Create several optional schedules in case your first-choice schedule is not available when your enrollment appointment begins.

  - Check out this feature – “search by course attribute” in Additional Search Criteria. You can use this to search by general education requirements, no-cost/low-cost course materials, etc.

  - On the day of enrollment, logging in too early without activity can cause the system to time-out when you try to complete enrollment transactions. Ensure that you log-in and have continued activity until your enrollment appointment begins.
