How to use Spirion to Search your N:Drive on Mac

Details

  • Open the Spirion App and enter your Spirion password. 
    • Note: if you have not previously established a Spirion password, you must do so to proceed.

  • Click the Files button on the toolbar, select the File Locations menu option, and then click the Custom option from the dropdown.

  • Click the "…" button next to the Folder field. Locate and select your N: drive eID folder, which will be located on its specific it-data server
    • Note: leave the Add as Exclusion checkbox unchecked. 
  • Click the Add button. 
  • Close the Settings dialog box to save your changes

  • Click the Start button to begin a search.

While the search is in progress, you can minimize the scan progress screen and continue using your computer as usual. Once the search is complete, you will have a list of results to process and verify.
