If you see a prompt from Microsoft Authenticator when logging into an Office 365 application or your JMU email on your mobile device, it is likely that your account has been accidentially connected to Microsoft Authenticator. This may occur if:
While there is no issue using Microsoft Authenticator in conjunction with Duo, doing so can cause a slight delay when attempting to verify a Duo Push authentication. Unfortutunately, if you actively use Microsoft Authenticator, you will be required to use due to changes in Microsoft's Mult-Factor Authentication policies. However, If you no longer need Microsoft Authenticator (and do not wish to use it), you can simply uninstall the App from your prior to logging into your Office 365 or JMU Email.
